I’m an optimistic voyager, introspective wordsmith, and the visionary captain of Woodies, my brand of sunglasses. My lifestyle is somewhat different from the norm–I run my business and work on my many projects from all corners of the earth. In my most recent chapter, I lived without the internet for a whole year (more on that soon). I thrive on pushing the limits and diving into the unknown, all to create meaningful experiences for myself and others.

Woodies sunglasses
I like to keep it simple: Woodies specializes in creating handmade sunglasses, watches, and a few other items out of–well, you guessed it–wood! We’re a family run business, with my mom at the forefront of all things customer service.
My business philosophy is inspired by the 4-Hour Workweek. I formed this company with one goal in mind: to make it sustainable and simple enough for me to spend more time at the beach than in front of my laptop.
A Year Without Internet
Like so many people nowadays, I found myself addicted to my phone, and it was impacting my life in such a way that I decided to get rid of it all together. Relying on old school snail mail, landlines, and good ol’ face-to-face interaction, I learned to live my life outside of a screen for a whole year.
